Find out more about changes to day services in Glastonbury and Street.

To improve how we deliver support during the day, we are moving from the Beckery Resource Centre in Glastonbury to two new buildings in the area. We want the people we support to be able to be involved in their communities as much as possible and moving to these new venues will help that.
The first of these is the Street Young People’s service located on Strode Road, next to Strode College. We have been using the ground floor of the building for many years and are now working with the YMCA, who currently occupy the first floor, to share that space with them. The YMCA children’s service will continue to run its activities outside our use of that space.
The second building is next to the Glastonbury Library Hub at 2, Orchard Court, Glastonbury. As many of you may know, this building is in the heart of the town centre and therefore makes it easy for the people we support to access all the amenities.
Both of these locations will have a Changing Places toilet with space and equipment such as a height adjustable changing bench and a hoist.
