Campaigns
Get Involved. You can make a difference too.
Along with our parent company Dimensions and other partners, we:
- Propose new and forward-thinking solutions to help more people leave locked institutions and be supported in their local communities.
- Work across government to press for a better deal for colleagues in social care, through Dimensions Workforce Manifesto here.
- Support change-makers to be heard on a bigger stage, through Dimensions Learning Disability and Autism Leaders List here.
- Campaign for Changing Places toilet facilities nationwide so everyone can get out and about and enjoy the day to day activities many of us take for granted.
Together, with Dimensions, we also tackle hate crime and health inequality. Support people to vote. Encourage people to attend autism friendly cinema screenings nationwide, go autism friendly gaming or find autism friendly library resources.
Each campaign is here to involve and support you to make a difference.
By informing and educating the community around you.
Such as writing to your MP about funding social care, which the workforce manifesto will help you to do. Or, like many police forces, your organisation, community or family could benefit from our hate crime training resources here.
And help you or the person you support with equality, diversity, and inclusion:
Through our voting passports, autism-friendly cinema screenings, museums, libraries and games.
It is important that we speak alongside people with learning disabilities and autism, not for them or on their behalf. Our campaign work is co-created alongside people we support and those we employ with learning disabilities and autism.
