Our Social enterprise

Discovery is a Social Enterprise, which means that more than 50% of any surplus is reinvested back into Somerset via our Community Fund.

We are proud holders of the Social Enterprise Mark, and are structured and managed to comply with the three key areas of the Social Mark’s requirements:

• Ethical & Good Business Practice.
• Social Impact & Financial Transparency.

How does it operate?

The Social Enterprise liaises closely with both the Discovery Executive Team and Discovery Board to ensure it’s well-informed on potential investment opportunities and is promoting and capturing the positive impact of the Social Enterprise.
